Competitions for

  • Prizes for the best-dressed girl, boy, family, dog, cat, pram and bike.
  • Best dancer
  • Children’s Colouring Competition sponsored by Sandringham Community Bank (Bendigo) – Entries to the colouring competition close on the 18th of November.
    Many of the entries will be displayed at the Sandringham Community Bank (Bendigo Bank) in Sandringham.

Prizes are subject to terms and conditions

Dress up in your best festive outfit, bring a picnic blanket and start the parade with us at Sandringham Football Club to Green Point, Brighton Beach.

There will be entertainment by Paul Jamieson, face painting, performances by Sacred Heart Sandringham and a sausage sizzle.

It’s free for your family to take part in the Santa Rally.

Where does the money go?

Sandringham Rotary Club raises money for local and international causes.

Our current projects include:

  • A community garden for Sandringham
  • L2P mentoring learner drivers
  • Foodbank collection – we are the largest collector in Victoria

Parking

Is available at Sandringham Football Club and off Beach Road on the city side of the football club.

There is also limited free parking in surrounding side streets if you don’t have a resident’s parking permit and prefer not to pay.

Who can enter?
Anyone can enter the event, adults, children, families, school groups, friends and neighbours.

Can I bring my dog(s)?
Yes, you can bring your dog but it must be kept on the lead at all times.

How do we get to the Green Point meeting place?
You can walk, ride your bike, scooter along the beach bike track.

Do I dress up?
Yes, please dress up! Why not add some tinsel to your bike or pushchair?

Where is Green Point and how far is the walk?
Green Point is opposite Brighton Breach Station and is 2.5KM from the starting point.

Are there toilets at the event?
There are toilets at Green Point with disabled access

Is parking available?
There is parking at the start and finish.

Are there refreshments?

Yes, refreshments (snags and soft drinks) will be available for purchase at Green Point

Can I get a refund if the weather is not great?
No, the event will go ahead in all weather conditions.

How do I register?

Bendigo Bank colouring competition

Colouring competition

Get the kids in the mood early with Bendigo Bank’s colouring competition.

Entries will be displayed in the Bendigo Bank window and the winners will be presented with a prize at the Santa Rally on the 24th November.

Entertainment

At  Green Point the kids will be entertained by Paul Jamieson.

The music has been unanimously declared “parent friendly” and children and adults alike move and groove to the enticing beats and imaginative stories.

There will also be a special performances by Sandringham Primary School and Sacred Heart.
