Do you recognise the names Kurt Wallander, John Rebus or even Inspector Morse? If so, you’ll thoroughly enjoy listening to our next speaker.

Laraine Stephens, writer of historical crime fiction and Beaumaris resident is our guest speaker.

Author of two novels, The Death Mask Murders and Deadly Intent. Both novels are set in Melbourne. The first during the final days of the Great War. And the second, in a rain battered Melbourne during the 1920’s. Laraine’s third novel is expected in June 2023.

Laraine will be joined by Kate Becker from the Thesaurus Bookshop in Brighton. Amongst other things, she will share her thoughts on why we should be making a regular call in to our local bookshop!

Welcome Laraine Stephens and Kate Becker.
